Corporate social responsibility

What a fantastic afternoon it was for the residents of various Care Centers from Overijssel (the Netherlands) and for the colleagues of FS Solutions. Friday afternoon 15 November last colleagues from FS Solutions were allowed to accompany elderly people with a care need and disabled people during an outing with the steam locomotive of the Stichting Museum Buurt Spoorweg (MBS). This outing was organized by Stichting Goal.

After a joint lunch, ‘the work’ started such as preparing and filling a real old-fashioned train cart. All kinds of refreshments were done for coffee / tea but there was also a Coke or alcohol-free beer in it. Upon the arrival of the residents, help was allowed to board the steam locomotive. During the ride, snacks were distributed and the accompanying pull harmonica that played Dutch songs was sung along.

Many enthusiastic reactions were afterwards from the residents and supervisors. But it wasn’t just for him that it was a great afternoon. It was also a great afternoon for us – colleagues – that gave everyone a lot of energy. That’s what we at FS Solutions call corporate social responsibility.
